National RV Training Academy Expands Instructor Role for Casey Goodman Across Advanced RV Training Programs

Athens, Texas. The National RV Training Academy (NRVTA), a career school approved and regulated by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), announces that Casey Goodman has been authorized within NRVTA’s instructional framework to teach additional programs within its hands-on RV technician and RV inspector training curriculum.

Instructor Background and Industry Experience

Casey Goodman brings a combination of formal business education, technical training, and real-world RV service experience to the NRVTA instructional team. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a 2023 graduate of NRVTA’s Advanced RV Service Technician and RV Inspector training programs.

He has earned professional credentials through the Recreational Vehicle Technicians Association of America as a Certified RV Service Technician and through the National RV Inspectors Association as a Certified RV Inspector.

In addition to his instructional role, Goodman owns and operates Insightful RV, LLC, where he provides RV diagnostics, repair services, and professional inspections for RV owners and buyers.

Expanded Instructional Role

Goodman was previously authorized to teach the Advanced RV Service Technician (ARVST) program and has now been authorized within NRVTA’s approved training programs to instruct additional advanced training courses, including Advanced Solar Technician, Advanced Generator Technician, and RV Inspector training.

This expanded instructional role reflects NRVTA’s continued focus on instructional quality, internal program oversight, and alignment with regulatory requirements as a TWC-regulated career school.

Hands-On RV Technician Training Model

NRVTA’s programs emphasize hands-on RV technician training in real-world environments, combining classroom instruction with lab-based application. Students train across key RV systems such as electrical, solar, generator, propane, plumbing, and HVAC systems, with a focus on practical diagnostics and troubleshooting.

This blended training model is designed to reflect real RV service conditions and support skill development aligned with industry needs, consistent with NRVTA’s published program structure and facilities.

Career-Focused RV Training Pathways

NRVTA provides structured vocational training for individuals seeking to develop skills that may be applied to roles such as RV service technician positions, RV inspection services, mobile RV repair businesses, and self-employment opportunities within the RV industry.

Training programs are designed to prepare students for certification exams administered by third-party organizations, including the Recreational Vehicle Technicians Association of America and the National RV Inspectors Association. NRVTA does not issue certifications.

Through his work with Insightful RV, LLC, Goodman brings real-world RV diagnostics and repair experience into the classroom, helping students better understand field-based service workflows, inspection practices, and customer-facing scenarios. His experience supports NRVTA’s mission to deliver student-centered, hands-on training led by experienced professionals.
