Athens, Texas – February 3rd, 2026 – For many RV owners, an inspection is the difference between confidence and costly surprises. The National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) is proud to announce the launch of an expanded RV Inspector Training Program designed to better prepare students for meaningful, real-world work serving RV buyers and owners nationwide.

The enhanced program reflects NRVTA’s ongoing commitment to hands-on education and practical skill-building. Students enrolled in the RV inspector training program gain increased opportunities to work directly with real RVs, practice inspection techniques, and develop the confidence needed to perform professional RV inspections in the field.

“People come to NRVTA because they want to build a new path, whether that’s starting an RV inspection business, adding inspection services to an existing mobile RV technician business, or creating a flexible career that allows them to travel,” said Kelly Bradley, Chief Operating Officer of NRVTA. “Our goal is to provide training that supports those goals with practical experience and strong fundamentals.”

What’s New in the RV Inspector Training Program

More Hands-On RV Inspection Labs
Students now spend additional time in guided lab environments practicing inspection procedures, reviewing systems, and applying what they learn using real RVs on campus.

Expanded Field Experience at Texan RV Park
With access to a wide variety of RVs across the 30+ acre Texan RV Park, students gain exposure to real-world inspection scenarios similar to what they will encounter when working with RV buyers and owners.

Greater Emphasis on Practical Skills
Alongside inspection reporting, the updated RV inspector curriculum places stronger focus on developing observational skills, evaluating RV systems, and identifying concerns that could impact safety, functionality, or purchasing decisions.

Graduates of NRVTA’s RV inspection program go on to serve clients across the country, helping RV buyers make informed decisions and helping RV owners better understand their RV systems. For many, this work offers flexibility, independence, and the opportunity to build a business centered on service and trust.

The National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA) establishes inspection report standards and best practices for its members. NRVTA aligns its RV inspector training program with recognized industry expectations to help students understand professional inspection practices.
