ATHENS, Texas – The National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) today announced a new advisor was hired to help students enroll in various training courses to become certified RV inspectors or technicians.

Char Sablan grew up in Guam, but has lived in Las Vegas for more than 40 years. She will be working remotely to provide prospective students with detailed information about NRVTA’s certification programs as well as the school’s features and amenities. Sablan will also explain the admissions process and, if students wish to attend the academy, she will enroll them into NRVTA’s training programs.

She has 15 years of experience in sales and spent five years working as an admissions advisor for another school.

“I was really impressed with NRVTA’s specialized training programs and how they can prepare people for a career or business in the RV industry,” Sablan explained. “The staff and culture at NRVTA are truly reflective of Texas’ well-known hospitality.

“My goal is to help grow the school by helping one student at a time discover how training offered at NRVTA can enable them to realize their dreams,” she added. “Working as an RV technician or inspector in a much-needed niche market offers a lot of potential for a rewarding career or a profitable business.”

With many older adults looking for options to go into business for themselves, Sablan is in a good position to relate to them, said Tony Flammia, NRVTA’s director of sales and marketing.

“Char very much understands the desires of people in their 40s and older who want to step out of their current situations and start over in a career where they have more control of their time and money,” he explained. “We are fortunate to have someone like Char on our team who understands how embracing a new opportunity can be life-changing for people who want to thrive on their own.”

Sablan and her husband have one daughter, three grandchildren and two “fur babies.” When she’s not working, she enjoys watching movies, playing ping pong and traveling. As a dancer, Sablan participates in flash mobs for surprise weddings, birthday celebrations and other events around the Las Vegas strip.

She can be reached by calling (903) 386-0444 or by email at [email protected]
