When Ray from New Era, Michigan first started watching Todd’s Two Minute Tech Tip Tuesdays on YouTube, he didn’t realize it would eventually lead to a complete career change. What began as a curiosity about RV maintenance quickly turned into a new passion — and a plan for the future.

“I was watching Todd’s Tech Tip Tuesdays and started researching the National RV Training Academy,” Ray said. “When I found out they offered a home study course, I decided to take it.”

After completing the RV Home Study Course, Ray decided to travel to Athens, Texas, to attend the National RV Training Academy in person. “My experience so far has been great,” Ray said. “I was pretty nervous the first few days of class, but it’s slowly but surely coming together.”

That’s a common feeling among new students. The NRVTA Fundamentals course introduces students to the major systems found in RVs, and through hands-on labs, they learn not only how to diagnose and repair issues but also how to communicate with customers and run their own mobile service business.
